I am thrilled to introduce to you REALTOR Marisela Torres, who recently
earned and accepted an invitation to the CENTURY 21 Adams & Barnes
Monrovia sales team.

Marisela is a long time San Gabriel Valley resident. She was raised in
Arcadia and continues to maintain residence in the beautiful City of
Monrovia. She enjoys spending Friday nights meeting friends, old and
new, at the Family Festival in Old Town.

With over eight years experience as a Loan Processor, she is intimately
familiar with Real Estate transactions.  Over the years Marisela has
worked closely with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and escrow officers.
These experiences have allowed her the opportunity to develop systems
and techniques that help ensure successful closings through an
emphasis on clear communication between all parties.

"I believe in hard work, strong ethics in business and having a balanced
approach to life," Marisela says. "I chose a career in Real Estate because
I feel it is rewarding to help families of all shapes and sizes  start the
journey of transforming an empty house into a loving home. From our first
meeting to the moment I hand you the keys, rest assured that I will be
your advocate every step of the way."

IF YOU FAIL TO PLAN THEN YOU PLAN TO FAIL
Isn't it amazing how quickly the days, months, hours and minutes go by sometimes? If you're in the real estate
profession and/or a related industry you know that 2009 went by in the blink-of-an-eye and 2010 is poised to
go equally as fast.

It is this fact of business life that all companies big and small wrangle with and attempt to manage.

With that said, in early September many at our real estate sales team began to make business plans for
2010. Keenly aware that market challenges will continue to put pressures on our efforts, several agents
looked at the systems and practices they employed this past year and made choices of what they plan to
keep, maintain, tweak and get rid of for the year to come.

Some of our agents took advantage of low technology prices and bought new lap tops, phones, cameras and
equipment that will help them deliver efficient, pristine and more colorful communications next years.

Others analyzed their on-line marketing approach. Whether this meant a new site re-design (
www.c21ab.net,
www.askjacen.com) or an emphasis on bloging (www.yoursocalrealtors.wordpress.com) REALTORS now
know that a professional and focused web-presence will help capture today's consumer who continues to
demand crisp and smart market information and trends.

In an attempt to going back-to-basics, our team is revamping new "farming" packages that will help us target
new pockets of business in the communities that we serve.

The reason for all this study and planning again is to "hit the ground running" as the gate opens onto 2010
and the race towards a more successful year begins. The adage is right" if you fail to plan, you plan to fail"
and our team is dutifully committed to thrive despite the challenges in the over all market and help our
communities in the process.
Plan to Win
Now here's my challenge to you!

As you look at the in-coming year and your book of business,
have you taken the time to plan and accommodate your efforts
for what is coming?

Have you looked at your systems and spending and come up
with a strategy for marketing smarter?

If you haven't then I'd implore you that it is not too late to do
some business soul searching and take the steps necessary
to make the most of 2010.

Need some help? I'm here for you. Give me a call or email
me. I'd love to sit down to help you brainstorm what's to come.
