The City of Azusa has a very special place in my heart. For many years, I have seen this wonderful city grow and
re-invent itself. Here in Azusa I began my life as a Rotarian and through time I have endured and adventured with
men and women that are close to family to me. Life as a Rotarian is challenging. Having served several posts within
my club I can attest to the hard work it takes to make a club successful. But the Rotary moments I've experienced
have made every toil worth it.
As Azusa Rotary President (2006-2007) my challenge was to "Lead the Way" by Rotary International and I forced
myself to be a proponent of positive change. Our club is changing and our work as Rotarians evolves to meet
modern needs. But as time ticks by I am confident thatRotarians will be paramount to the future world our children
with inherit.
